Fees

For most of our work it is our normal practice to provide our services on the basis of reimbursement for time and materials. This arrangement recognises the difficulty in precisely defining the scope of work and allows the client some flexibility to change the emphasis of our service as work proceeds.

Our hourly rates for this work are currently as follows:

BASIC CONSULTANCY

  • Associate/Associate Director $ 215
  • Senior Consultant $ 175
  • Consultant $ 140
  • Junior Consultant $ 115
  • Administration $ 100

We occasionally get called as Expert Witness's in circumstances where Client relations have deteriorated to a point where we can not be of benefit any other way. We do not like acting in this role as we are a firm believer that there is always a better way. To this end and as a disincentive we insist that for time spent while acting as Expert Witness, i.e. giving evidence/undergoing cross examination/assisting Counsel to examine witnesses if required, we charge a premium of 50% on normal hourly rates.

PARTNERS IN PROCESS

Subject to a mutually acceptable arrangement, we will back our selves by becoming partners in your process improvement project.

What that means is that:


1. Our Consultancy rates reduce by approx 40% to

  • Director $ 175
  • Associate/Associate Director $ 130
  • Senior Consultant $ 105
  • Consultant $ 85
  • Junior Consultant $ 65
  • Administration $ 45.

 

2. But we introduce a success fee equal to approx 50% of the billable hours charged for the work[ or an agreed % of the measurable outcome of the project ]which ever is the greater, IF we complete the project to the agree key objectives.


In this way we are not a massive burden on your current cashflow and only seek reimbursement of the use of our interlectual property when the process has returned the appropriate benefits to the business.
Upon becoming familiar with the Project and with the quantum and quality of documentation to be reviewed, we will be better placed to provide an estimate of our likely fees.

Conflict of Interest

Because of the size of the industry in which we work and our wide range of clients, we are occasionally placed in the position where two of our clients are in dispute. In the past we have found that this has not presented us with problems of conflict of interest, because of the procedures we adopt. In the event this occurs we will declare our relationship and allow the Client to decide if they wish to continue with the service.
